I had a reservation set for about a month early... when I arrived they said I couldn't use my debit card.... which the website actually said was an option & the staff was rude and not accommodating. I usually stick with enterprise but hertz seemed to have better prices, until you go to pick up your rental 😂

I am a Gold customer and I guess there is only so much you can do in a local branch, but when I arrived for a one week pickup I had to wait for the car (about ten minutes and I was on time not early) which does not match up with typical gold. Car was fine but upon return they insisted a reclean/vacuum because we had a dog. I appreciate the heads-up (I wasn;t paying $150 for a custom cleaning) but dog in car is allowed (I checked) and it seemed my going to local car wash to use free vacuum was not a big step up from what they should be able to do onsite.
