Update 10.30.17 Beware, this restaurant has interesting tactics to shame and pressure you too make sure you tip their crew, a crew that asks you what drink, and buses your plates. The crew member hovered and watched as I filled out the receipt. Then left the table but came back seconds later as we stood up to leave, opened the bill book and stood with it open looking for the tip. What this crew member didn't know was my son was looking for cash to tip. She was angry and held the open bill book with a debit card payment of 70+ dollars signed and she just stood there, no other guests were waiting for our table, plenty seats open, she just decided to stand there while we grabbed our jackets. She began pushing the bill book into all my guests faces, including the minors. My son found his cash and put 10% into the open and now waiting in front of him bill book, all he had, and more than enough for a buser who said one word too us in 45 min, "drinks?" and cleared our dishes twice. She dropped the book on the table in disgust and her and another buser scowled and talked about us as we walked out. This ruined an otherwise great dinner, arguably not as good as the first six visits we made, (and this was our last which I'm sure they are fine with being that the implication from their staff that a $7 tip was offensive for a greeter/bus staff at a buffet, so they would rather me spend $80 at one of 100's of other buffets in CT who don't tip shame) but that's probably because of the bad taste in my mouth after this incident.

Still liked the food for the most part and the price is fair, dropped one Star for this experience, but just an opinion of one reviewer, maybe your experience will be better.

I blame mgmt by the way, pay your buser more and they won't treat their customers like they deserve a tip like a traditional restaurant waitress would, not the buffet cafeteria style restaurant it is. Maybe have less signs dictating rules and laws for children, and time limits like I said in the first review. Paint the chipped walls from the chairs scratching and gouging them, it feels like a war on guests every time I visit here.

I blame the greeter/buser, engage in conversation, make experience memorable, ask everyone at table if they want refill, not just one. Engage in banter or improve the experience because anything more than a few dollars for waiting to bus plates seems unreasonable.

I've already spent too much time on this review, I mean no ill will or disrespect to the business, just my opinion of course, and my isolated experience. Plenty of other great reviews here, just sharing my thoughts and experiences.

Take a peak at the other reviews, many complaints about the staff and crew, and other reviews claims of racism, tip shaming, disrespect, and other behavior like this, and honestly it starts with the leadership.

The best quality and choices of food around, with an affordable price, but at the cost of ambiance and cleanliness.

This place suprised me, the food was really good, I would say the best in it's class. The price for lunch for 3 adults on a Sunday with drinks was $40. Making this spot the best value to quality I've ever had when comparing too the other vast amount of these types of buffets. So why four stars? I'd give a C- for cleanliness, the floors and walls were just dirty with dirt, food and dust. The booths were uncomfortable and ripped up from fair wear and tear. The bathrooms were disgusting, there was trash everywhere and the sinks were unclean. Long waits were accompanied by aggressive placement of "buffet rules". Every wall has computer printouts of rules, ranging from the 2hr table limit, to take only the food you want to eat, don't waste food. Instead of hanging pictures or decor at my booth, we had three printouts of rules. The third rule was all about children, watch them it said, they are not allowed by themselves. Most of these rules were printed in all caps with exclamation points, and because of this it took away from the experience and ambiance.
