The food is prepared by Japanese hands. If these Japanese individuals are out, the food will be prepared by Japanese-trained hands who follows Japanese instructions in food preparation. Above all this Japanese restaurant is owned and operated by an individual who was born in Japan. The food is authentically Japanese. It is not imitation. It is a Kosher Sushi. It's quality is much higher than the sushi prepared by eat all you can sushi restaurants, which is by the way owned by Chinese not Japanese.

It's always good when you see local Japanese at a Japanese restaurant. The box dinner offers a myriad of mix/match selections that are typically not offered with other bento dinners. A nice touch was rice pudding dessert. My only disappointment was that they didn't have mackerel as an entry - tilapia was offered and the salmon I chose was a good substitute.

Such a sweet quiet place to eat with affordable price. Usually seing pictures of the food turns me off but this was an exception. Nice service, kind people. Great food and affordable

Good, fresh, tasty sushi. Several different "column A, column B" types of choices so you get a good variety. I specifically tried something crazy-different, I ended up not liking it, but everything else was so good I didn't care.

Favorite Japanese restaurant in New Haven. Can't beat their price/quality. Highly recommended. Their agedashi tofu is really good.
