Was hoping for better. I had the chicken which was dry but flavors we're good. Maybe an off night but not memorable. Atmosphere is stark and an odd entrance where you walk in to the middle of the dining room. Food at Muriel's is a much better option where we had 2 amazing meals.

We enjoy fine dining.Antoines has been a leader in fine dining since 1840.
Don't know where to start. Bread, wine selection, dinner were all magnificent. Wait staff very cordial and accommodating. If you want to get the Baked Alaska order it with dinner, as it takes 30 minutes to prepare.
Highly recommend this was our best meal ever in New Orleans !

One of the best experiences while we were in New Orleans! We did the $20.17 autumn lunch special which was fabulous and so many great samplings of their local specialties. Our waiter Winchester and his assistant Randolph were awesome and made everything so enjoyable. Randolph gave us a great tour of the restaurant after our meal, and the history is so fascinating! Everything about it was great, especially the value of what we got compared to what we spent! Must do when in New Orleans!! Can't wait to come back next time!

On Oct. 11, 2017 we had a family outing to Antoine's. The restaurant has an amazing layout with much history under it's belt. Many themed rooms where your can have a private seating for a group. The staff was friendly and even offered a tour where one gentleman pushed my mother while in her wheelchair. But, now the food. Some meals were amazing while others were a little lacking, especially with a bill of $477! My father (who paid) had beef tips but they were rather chewy to the point where he gave up. (My sister also had them but hers were fine). My wife had a spinach dish, I had a corn dish and both were very salty. My wife also gave up eating her veggie. For the expense you expect every part of the meal to shine but, not the case. My father was so looking forward to this being the crowned Jewel of meals but that wasn't the case. Since it was my parents 63rd anniversary they offered them Champaign and a dessert. As far as comping went, they took off my wife's spinach.

My husband and I went after reading about the great lunch special. We're not "fine-dining" folks but we decided to take a break from our flip flops and dress up a bit to experience this historic setting. It was wonderful! From the moment we checked in for a reservation every one was friendly and welcoming and the service was top notch. The .25 cocktails were offered and recommended right away and hot bread came out to our table. Nobody made us feel like we were there for a cheap lunch, I feel as tho we had the complete experience. From the bread to the dessert, it was just great and everything we tried was really good. Love the fall menu but especially the bisque. My husband mentioned it was our anniversary and complimentary champaign was brought out to us, the nicest gesture we've had in a long time! Thank you for the true NOLA experience we were hoping to find on our first trip to LA.
