EDIT: The owner of Babylon Café has reached out to me to let me know that the employee in question has been let go. I appreciate the swift response, and hope that the next time we visit NOLA, our experience will be better.

We expected a baseline level of service during our visit, not a "to go" experience, during which you disappear until we have to flag you down every time the water gets low, we need silverware (which we had to snag from another empty table ourselves) or to-go boxes. You just sat at the back of the restaurant, staring at your phone and clearly not giving a damn about your job. The food, too, was mediocre at best (and overpriced as a result) and tasted like it got nuked in a microwave. Not sure why I got my side long before the appetizer even came out. Maybe the service industry isn't for you.

Clean, pleasent wait staff, type of food on the menu was really good for my first time, good moderate prices.

Really fresh and yummy food and the staff could not be nicer and more helpful, definitely a place I would revisit and recommend

Went in for a quick bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and portion sizes. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Entree and had enough for two meals. The food was seasoned perfectly and the taste was amazing. I will definitely be returning!
