One of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans. The food is unique, tasty, and creative. Great service. My husband even suprised me and asked the wait staff if Chef Susan Spicer would come out to our table. She did come out and was vert friendly. It was very nice of her to take time out of her dinner service. Thank you so much for the great experience!

Tonight's visit to Bayona was simply wonderful. The weather was perfect for dinner in the courtyard and the staff made us feel welcome and tended to our every need without exception. They were there when needed and tending to others while we enjoyed the tasty treats from the kitchen. A lovely start to the evening. Thanks SS and team.

Order the stormy morning drink! The menu does change daily so when we were there we ordered the crispy fried chicken wings, BBQ shrimp and eggplant caviar. We left the played cleaner than a dishwasher.

As always, Batons delivered creative food in lovely setting. Garlic soup was velvety and delicious. The rabbit was prepared two ways, stuffed and crisp fried with a delectable sauce. I ended the meal with a perfectly portioned peanut butter pie and caramelized bananas that was divine. Unfortunately, the room was incredibly loud and service a bit inattentive, both of which detracted from an otherwise outstanding meal.

I don't normally leave reviews but I had to leave this review simply because I loved everything about dining here. I don't eat meat and I was here with my family, and when I mentioned this, the server automatically offered to make me a vegetarian entree, which made me so happy. I know this is standard for nice restaurants, but between the food, the server we had, and the atmosphere, I was happy.
