Great Food and amazing service from the Waitts (bartender) and a nice, quiet, friendly atmosphere. When we were served the Charcuterie Board Brittany went to great lengths to explain each and every offering in detail. It really made the meal so much better as we were able to better understand the complexities of the offering. Make sure to head to the second floor and if you get a chance check out the balcony! Highly recommend!

Server and bartender were great. The menu was nothing like I remembered from the Julia Street location. I had the impression that this place had become an afterthought.

Neat upstairs place with cheese & charcuterei and a few other cute plates...expensive, but liw key and very approachable atmosphere...a little cold for the deck tonight, but I'd love to sit outside here--it looks inviting for happy hour when things warm up.

Conveniently located on Magazine Street, the shopping district. They no longer have those cigar box scallops pictured on Google+. But they have lots of equally visuals dazzling dishes. Charcuterie half and half board is a must. Unique to Root, it had lots of great pickled veggies and peaches (perhaps a Southern thing?). Snack board had one of everything on the happy hour menu so you don't have to choose.
