One of the best lunches I have had in a long time. Red beans were flavorful; and vegetable sides were fresh and well-seasoned. Looking forward to the next visit.

This is a food counter in the back of the newly opened Pirogue's Whiskey Bayou , a bar in the same building. If you want to order food, you go the back, place your order, and they'll text you when it's ready. They do take cards! The food is very, very solid bar food. We tried the duck liver mouse on toast with pepper jelly (very tasty), crawfish poutine (lots of gravy! Fresh cut fries), and the hot wings (good sauce, nice crisp on the skin but not breaded, good ranch on the side). We were very pleased with everything. This is a wonderful addition to the developing scene in Arabi.
