They have a dog friendly patio in the front which is awesome. The food consisted mostly of fried bar food, so if that is your thing then bump it up to a 4 rating. The nachos were really good, fresh jalapenos. One downside was the waiter was a little unattentive and claimed the heat lamps were on when they weren't.

The Rum House has never disappointed me. The atmosphere is great, the food is amazing, and the service is impeccable. The tacos served here are a bomb of flavors that come together to tango on your taste buds, I highly recommend trying each and every one of specialty tacos they have, but not all during the same visit, unless you want to, I won't stop you. There may be a slight wait at their peak hours, but it is absolutely worth it if you're even slightly into great food!

One of the best and most popular spots in New Orleans. The signature tacos are amazing, as well as all the food they have available. All the drinks are strong, tasty, and appropriately priced. There really is no con to this place except for the fact that it is so popular, you may be limited to the bar, or to get some food to go if you do not want to be on a long wait (a wait that is beyond the restaurants control, some people are willing to wait 1.5 hours for this food because of popularity and a line out the door). My favorite new menu item is definitely "Everyone Calls You A Jerk But I Just Think You're a Pig" taco, it is chopped jerked pork topped with grilled pineapple salsa relish.

Love this place. $2 taco Tuesdays are great but good luck getting a table. I'd rather spend the little extra and not have to wait forever for a seat. The bartenders are really friendly and accommodating. Treat yourself to the steak one day, you won't regret it.

Never disappoints. Great drinks. Great food. Great service. Reasonable prices. Casual dining. If I had any complaint, I find the acoustics inside can be challenging if there are groups of loud people, but it's never deterred me from going and we tend to sit outside anyway. The sidewalk seating is awesome.
