It is cool to watch them hand toss the pizza, but the crust is almost flavorless, and they are stingy with the cheese toppings. I found the pizza to be mediocre and not worth the moderate price. The place is also VERY crowded on Fridays, and the beer prices are TOO high for the small cups, not even a pint.

Skimpy on sauce. Light on cheese. The crust is terribly bland. Even skimpy on beer! The beer was 8 or 12 ounces, not a pint. Took 45 minutes after ordering to get pizza. Charged for 2 toppings when I was told I would be charged for 1. The server did not correct the bill when I brought it to her attention. Decor is pathetically ugly. The prices are too high.

My first visit was with my girlfriend at the time while visiting New Orleans for some certifications. The pizza was hot, fresh, and everything a pizza should be. Crispy yet chewy crust, gooey cheese, savory sauce. Just perfect. Friendly staff, tiny location. I am so glad I moved to Metairie and can experience Tower of Pizza at any opportunity.
