Its really a beautiful park. The children have fun playing in the sand.

NYC did a great job of overhauling this park in Spanish Harlem. Now there is a sandbox and sprinklers for kids, swings, and space to run around, while parents can watch from new benches a few feet away. The other half of the park has full court basketball and handball courts.
So many parks above 96 st are neglected, so it is wonderful to see how this park has been renovated. Great option for locals.

I grew up in this neighborhood so I am familiar with the before and after. What they've done here is amazing! My boys love coming here when they visit their grandma. It is a bit sad how people mistreat it by littering and such, but it is still a great park.
