Great and authentic Cuban food. I liked that the restaurant does not try to be fancy and simply just serves great food. The Tostones are a must.

If you want home style Cuban food this is the spot. The daily specials are usually under $10, which is tough to find in Astoria. For those expecting regular table service, this restaurant is more take-out, and pay at counter type. And if you do decide to get a table, the place is usually not full so no waiting at all, and food is served fast so you won't be waiting long for your meal as well. Can't go wrong with daily specials, the Pernil is my go to. Cubano sandwich, is pretty epic. Half a sandwich would be the same amount as a full sandwich in the city, for half the price ($6.00). Highly recommend Latin Cabana if you are in Astoria/LIC and need get a quick bite or fast sit down meal.

Large portion, low price, super friendly service. I wish that they would have more business. They are clearly trying hard to drum up more business. They are available through all manners of online delivery services. Their daily special plates for $7.95 are fantastic.
