Our group took a day trip to Connecticut from NYC. The tour agency is Chinese and operates for Chinese people which we didn't realize when buying the tickets. The bus driver was rude and aggressive, he started yelling at us as we tried entering the bus. We were very lost as it was hard to say what he was screaming about. Later we found out he wasn't letting us on the bus with our Starbucks since they don't allow coffee cups, which was never mentioned when buying the tickets or in the text message with instructions the day before our trip. No explanation from the driver though, just straight up yelling in Chinese/English. What a great beginning of the trip!
The tour guide barely spoke any English as well, but knew how to explain how much money in cash we owe him on top of what we had already paid for the tour. $20.00 for visiting Mark Twain house which we understand. $8.00 mandatory service fee: makes no sense. $17 for Chinese buffet for lunch. To our question if we could eat something different he said they only make a stop at that buffet, which was really crappy. Overall it would have been a great trip with fun itinerary if not the terrible service and shady cash charges.

This was honestly the best tour I have ever experienced. It was definitely worth what I paid for and more. Our tour guide, Evan Liu, especially filled our tour with excitement and provided us with exclusive experiences that we couldn't have experienced with anybody else. Out of all the tours I have experienced so far, our tour guide was the best one I have ever seen. He was patient, nice, entertaining, and above all, he did what others couldn't do; He overflowed our tour with all the fun we would ever want from a vacation and at the same time informed us of new information with thorough explanations. All in all, the tour was a wonderful experience.

This was the best trip ever even though there are difficulties. Boris was the best tour guided ever, he is funny and nice. He put us first things first. On the 3rd night we got to the hotel and then there was a big mistake the people didn't get there rooms. The workers gave the room to the wrong people. We had to wait 3 hours and finally Boris helped us solve the problem. But when some people got into the room were all messed up and people were inside. Then we called Boris. The manager didn't do anything about the fact we didn't have a room. So Boris looked it to his own hand. He told people to get out of the room and told the workers to clean the room. They called Boris manager and said they did' like their his attitude but I think the worker's attitude was horrible because THEY DIDNT'T CARE. If Boris didn't do anything we would have gotten our room until 3 am. They shared us each person 8 dollars and it is split for the bus driver and Boris. I think it is worth it because they worked night and day for us.

The tour seemed reasonably priced but there were hidden charges one should be made aware of. First of all I live in Brooklyn and the pickup location was in Brooklyn. However once the tour began the guide Ivy Wang indicated that when the tour is over we will be dropped off in Chinatown in New York. This fact was not made clear on their website. She then asked if anyone had a problem with this to which I replied yes of course I do. So now I have pay to take a cab ride back to Brooklyn where I reside. She then tells everyone that there is a $8 service charge each day per person and this includes children too. Again this was not found on their website. I told her that I would not be paying this fee because I needed the money to pay for my taxi ride home. But when she came around to collect I gave her $20 and she said if I did not pay the full $32 she would have the bus driver physically remove me from the bus. I said "so your"re going to do what United Airlines did with their passenger"? She did not respond to that but said if I show you where it states the $8 fee would you pay it. She did show it to me and I did pay it. The bus driver was a good driver but when we left Watkins Glen State Park and the bus stalled 4 times within 15 minutes I was a little worried about arriving to Niagara Falls that day. When we luckily made it there I asked him what happened to the bus and there was no reply. Finally the hotel was located in Buffalo which is about a 35 minute ride away from Niagara Falls.

This is truly a Chinese tour. All announcements were made of~ five (5) words in English and 5000 words in Chinese language. All lunch and dinner reservations were made in Chinese restaurants.
We spent the 1st night in a very stinky hotel, the second night in a nicer one, but all the reservations were made on the second floor with no elevator! The last night, the hotel in Montreal was really nice, but we instructed to wake up at 4:00 A.M ! , which make you wonder is this really a vacation or a labor camp?
The driver and the tour leader were fine.
