Please don't listen to the above-mentioned review, he doesn't know what he's talking about. They are not freemasons, Freemason is the name of the street (ex. Freemason Abbey is the name of a restaurant on the same street). It is a CBF-affiliated church with a strong liturgical and historical style. I was a musician at this church for ten years, and I never came across a more friendly, open, and loving community of faith. The music program is run by Robert Shoup of the Virginia Symphony Chorus. If you go for anything, go for the musical offerings, which include both professional and amateur singers performing choral masterpieces, with the addition of brass from time to time. It lives up to its motto: "A church with heart in the heart of the city."
