I love my Doctor He is the Best of the Best. This location is very convenient for me since I am literally like 10 mins away. I will see this location gets very busy. But its worth the wait and it takes time. I am seen here for blood clots and low iron levels I have to say it does sometimes take a long time but its not cause of running behind or if you were 10 or whatever mins late or early its just the ones who need treatment first get in faster. All of the patients who go there for treatments or blood disorders etc they are all so kind. And so friendly. I feel so comfortable there I feel like I am not alone with somethings I am fighting and the staff are all so very humble and they listen to you. They always give out advice to people who need it and tell you to keep fighting and never give up. My doctor Dr. Alexander Burton he is truly the best doctor in that location to me he is. All the other doctors are good as well but..Dr Burton is the Best!!! If it wasn't for him I would be on some other type of blood thinners they would have caused me more problems and so on. It hurts that I have to be on blood thinners for life. But this is my life and I have to stay strong and fight unless I want this clots to comeback and end my life. The whole team of doctors and the staff are truly friendly and kind. They are there for you and just want the best. But you have to be patient. Rome wasn't built in a day. So just be patient and stay strong.

Went into Virginia Oncology on a referral to see Dr.Conkling. The doctor ordered a plethora or tests and scheduled an appointment for 11:00 am September 28 to go over results. I am a single mother with an unreliable vehicle and it is difficult for me to find help but i cannot bring my 2 year old daughter with me to these appointments. I showed up early for my appointment and was left waiting until a little after 2:00pm for an 11:00 am appointment, I still had not been seen so I notified the front desk that I had to leave and was told they would contact me if needed. All of the staff was very friendly in my previous visits. Today, October 16, I received a phone call for the first time since my visit that kept me waiting, I missed this call. Upon calling back because I had no vm the woman who answered the line, Kim, was extremely rude and unwilling to help me or connect me to one of my doctor's staff. I called again hoping I would contact someone who would be willing to assist me and it was kim again on several extensions. After the 5th time I called I finally got through to someone willing to help me and left a message for them. I was very disappointed that it took nearly three weeks for someone to call me back and when I called back their employee was so unwilling to assist and had an extremely nasty disposition. The women who take blood for the tests are phenomenal though, they're kind and patient. When getting my blood taken I started having a panic attack and the woman taking my blood calmed me, got me water and was extremely understanding and careful. Too bad all of the employees do not take pride in their job like that.

Terrible experience. Went for a scheduled infusion, waited 45 mins and still had not been called back to get the process started. Tried calling the next day to reschedule and was transferred to an office voicemail several times. It's unfortunate that I was referred out to this location. Truly wish I could go somewhere else or that I didn't need the procedure at all.

I am here for a simple genetic counciling. I've been here since 2:15 and it is now 3:45. I still have no been seen by the doctor. It's unfortunate my appointment time must be met but the doctor is over an hour late getting to me. This is unacceptable.
