Petsmart sold me a chinchilla who weighed half of what he should weigh. He had seizures five days after I purchased him. I returned him to them to have him seen by the vet at Banfield then picked him up the same day. Later he got even more sick so I took him to a vet who told me he was severely underweight and that was what caused his seizures. When I went to Petsmart to see his paperwork from Banfield they told me that the vet didn't perform any tests on him while he was there and just "observed" him to see if he'd have any more seizures. I asked if he was weighed and they said he was, but did not show me his paperwork. I don't know how they could not know that he weighed less than half of what he should weigh. He also had parasites. I don't know how they could sell such a sick pet. If he were a cat or dog they would have known he was so underweight. They shouldn't sell pets that they don't know how to take care of.

I am only leaving a bad review for this store because they do NOT back their products. I bought a flea medicine from them, that they choose to sell and it sucks. I only used one and they would NOT take it back with a receipt. To me, if you sell a product then you should back it up and no matter what. If it is no good, then you should refund the money back or AT LEAST exchange it. This man Dan, who I'm guess is the manager, was very rude also. I called another PetSmart about 10 miles away and they have no problem taking back the product that I bought from THIS crappy PetSmart. Won't be going here ever again!!!! Oh and they never clean the dog pee off the floor either!

We are trying to create a self-sustaining tank so I went in for guppies. The girls helped me pick out some cute ones. Customer service was great. No complaints here!
