I don't know how this place has such high reviews. The receptionist acts like she either doesn't care our doesn't want to be there. When you ask a questing she looks at you like you're stupid. They used to carry AvenaLyt, which is the hands down best shampoo for dogs with sensitive skin. Now they carry Vet One which completely sucks. When i asked the girl if they were the same, that's when i got the are you stupid look, she they are comparable. This is a lie, flat out, now my dog has some of the worst itchy skin and dandruff everywhere the shampoo touched. I'm also out $18 . Furthermore, when you have your pet seen the very first thing they do is grab a flee comb and start going to town looking for flees. Good forbid they find one. Before they even know why you're there they're pressuring you to buy flee and heart worm meds. What a SCAM. I used to think this was just the way vet clinics are, that is until I had enough and switched to a wonderful awsome vet on the other side of Portsmouth in Churchland. In fact they have a similar name.

I take all of my pets here. They are great and have been accepting to one of our pup's behavior issues. They know we always want what is best for our babies. I have been to a few other vets in the area, none as good as here. Will use this vet as long as I live here.

I went to this clinic because my cat hurt his leg. They did a quick exam and then referred me to another clinic. When we arrived at the second clinic we found out the doctor here did not do a proper examination and we would have to pay for a new examination because the actual problem was never found. And they charged me eay more than the second vet. Waste pf time and money.

The staff loves on my dog every time we go and that is half of what I want in a vet's office. The doctors listen and answer questions patiently. My dog doesn't like going, but then that is to be expected. After all they have a very scary scale she has to get on every time she goes. :)
