We ate at the North Platte restaurant on Wednesday. November 8th. Probably never go back. 23$ for the worst steak. Tough as leather and tasteless. How hard is it to serve a decent steak. . I'll take my business elsewhere.

We waited 10 minutes after being seated, just to get menus. After finally putting in our orders the waitress didn’t come for a while to refill our drinks. We asked another waitress for refills and after no service for another 10 min my dad went up to the bar and got his own refill. When our food finally came the grilled chicken he ordered was charcoal. Overall, terrible service and tasteless food. Definitely not the refreshing stop we were hoping for after a 5.5 hr drive.

We waited 45 minutes with three kids 5 and under for a couple of kids meals and soup-salad combos. Complained to several servers who all said they'd get the manager. No one came after another 10 minutes so we left! Unbelievably bad service and lack of regard for customers. I've been a server for many years and, even if I or the kitchen messed up, I would have been falling over myself to apologize and make it right. This crew couldn't have cared less and now our 8-hour road trip with kids is 90 minutes longer than necessary. Should never have tried Applebee's anyway, I guess.

This place is terrible. Should be 0 star to put up. Went there for lunch on a Friday. There were 6 open tables in the bar area and more booths. We were 3rd in line and was told it would be 10 min wait to be seated. Staff in the past had been poor. Didn't want to go back but gave it a try. Will never again. There are many other places that are better in NP.
