I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS....I was really thrown back after a 5 minute phone call with one of the rudest people I think I've ever encountered. This guy was soo disrespectful and rude it was unbelievable. During a very sad and unfortunate time when I am very stressed out, because my child was hut pretty bad, he called me with a very rude and irritable tone. My son is missing out on completing his summer AAU tourneys that I have already paid for (non refundable), college recruit opportunities and once in a lifetime opportunities to open up at some Gospel shows praise dancing. Not to mention I cut hours at work to ensure he is not left alone, and racking up co pays and medical bills. But this guy has an attitude with me, because the company he represents failed to properly secure the merchandise and my child was injured.
He was calling in regards to a claim regarding my child whom was injured and he is representing the company. He had no compassion or understanding whatsoever. He called me silly, yelled at me on several occasions telling me " I do not listen, or I sound very foolish". When I asked a question his only response was "you cannot expect me to have answers for you right now". He did not like me asking questions and wanting answers. I was supposed to take what he said as the final answer. I asked for a claim number and wasn’t given that. I asked for specifics on the item that injured my son and he didn’t have that. He obviously did not do his homework on the incident before calling me and was mad that he was not prepared.
If you call someone and want information from them, I think you should be prepared to answer questions as well. I explained several times that I am just a confused and worried mother, who is a little frustrated about my child being injured and acting very abnormal at the moment due to his injury. I asked him does that make sense, or does he understand it...his response was "nope not at all". The company he is representing made tons of excuses of why his rudeness and disrespect could have happened. They also stated he is this way when dealing with them as well and that they were aware of how short and forceful he could be. But they are obviously ok with it, and he apparently has been getting away with it.
Very unprofessional and definitely not compassionate at all. You treat other how you want to be treated. It is not what you say but how you say it...there was nothing pleasant about dealing with this guy and he expects me to just sign papers and go with whatever, because he is a 1 man show type of business. I asked if there was someone else I could talk to and he yelled “ NO, I AM THE ONLY PERSON YOU CAN DEAL WITH AND YOU HAVE NO CHOICE IF YOU WANT TO FILE THIS CLAIM ON BEHALF OF YOUR SON”. I pray for his heart and mind to be healed. On top of a mother’s pain hurting for her baby, I have to deal with an ignorant disrespectful cocky insurance agent, whom lied and stated he was a claims associate for the company and was not from an insurance agency. When his license and business clearly states he is an insurance agent. I honestly do not think I can deal with him in person or over the phone. It may all have to be in email and even then, I just cannot swallow the fact that I have to deal with someone of his nature.
