With construction that has been going on for months to fix a simple road next to the park, taking up over half of the park to House the equipment, and bums hanging around, the park is not a great place to hang out. I’m actually afraid of walking in the green and stepping on a used needle. Place to avoid for sure!

My dog used to love this park. Unfortunately it's now filled with garbage and half of it has been bulldozed for a some rec center.

It's a nice business Park that unfortunately turned into a homeless encampment a few years ago. I think the construction work taking place has relocated some of those folks however.

Snow park has a lot of potential. It's large and open which makes it great to bring a group of friends or your dog. You get views of both downtown and the lake as well! Unfortunately half of the park is currently closed off due to construction. Additionally this park somehow manages to stay full of litter probably due to the temporary trash cans that never seem to be removed. It's also a popular spot for bums since there is a random open port-o-potty in the park.

Snow Park sounds like a place were you can lie on your back and make snow angles. This park has only two events that I know of, it's Oakland Running Festival and food trucks. During the day it's a nice place to rest or take a break if you work nearby. However, in the evening, its not ideal to even think about sitting on park bench. When its sundown, the transients get around sometimes in larger groups. I suggest holding nothing of value when you're walking by after dark and keep car doors lock so your belongings don't get gank.
