Amazing food, service and they will go the extra distance. I got off shift early on a Sunday, the place was closed but the owner saw me at the door. He opened early, fix me a excellent rib lunch and gave me a iced tea for the road! Plus try the pork chop sandwich!!!!

This place is wonderful! It made the southern come out in me! The best soul food and bbq that I have had in California. Service was great, they talked to us and gave suggestions, answered questions, and just chatted with us. Wish I could go to this place everyday!

I and my family were thoroughly disappointed to get home and open our meals and discover totally burnt Ox Tails!!!! I had praised Soul Food House on how good their food was the first time I went. I was pumped up to eat some good home cooked food; I just can't believe they served totally burnt meat. Reputation is everything and they failed miserably for that.
