The owner would benefit from training staff and hiring staff with more enthusiasm for their work. On a sleepy Sunday morning, the cashier served customers out of order, forgot part of an order, and gave her colleague wrong details on the other part of the order. She was inattentive and uninterested.

food is ok, coffee is good, baristas aren't very nice. like not outright rude but they seem like they'd like to be literally anywhere else. otherwise the atmosphere is ok.

There is a spoken word event that happens on Thursdays. It offers a good ambiance that entertains an adult crowd.

Good spot for coffee, a bit of work/discussion, or a happy hour drink on way home. Understaffed seems to be a theme, and the cafe au lait was not correctly made. But make up points for the Happy Hour and wine/beer on tap.
