Marion Theatre

This is a small theatre designed to look old fashioned. They play only two movies at a time, usually the most popular picks, and have full concessions and stadium style seats. The sound and screen are very good and you will most likely enjoy your time there depending on who else shows up at the theatre. The staff are very friendly and the place has been very clean when I go. If you want to have a good time on the square and need some time to kill, this isn't a bad place to do so.

Great place in downtown Ocala. Only movie theater in town where you can drink alcohol while watching.

Great movie experience. I love the retro feel of the place. Good prices for admission and concession. My family will come here from on now on.

The Marion is absolutely beautiful. From the screenings of classics, to the Ocala Symphony Orchestra events, to local independent movie premieres, and stunning variety shows, this is just, all around, a perfect setting for an unforgettable experience. The lobby is stunning and is full of neon. This theater is a living example of what going to the movies in the golden age of Hollywood must've been like. So, enjoy a classy experience at the movies, get a glass of wine and settle in at the historic Marion Theater.

Have been coming to this theater since the renovation and love it. The employees are great, the prices are great and the whole vintage atmosphere is well done. If there is one complaint is the picture quality on the bottom floor. Most regal theaters have installed 4k projectors and this one cannot come close but hopefully that will change. Other than that a great local theater.
