One of the most egregious displays of patient disrespect, condescension, and lack of compassion, regard, and care I have ever experienced from a medical facility. The behavior of the girl at the front desk was atrocious for no good or obvious reason. I understand "bad days," but this was beyond reasonable and was abusive. I am shocked at how poorly I was treated here.

Additionally, there appears to be some kind of bait and switch insurance game. I thought I was going into an Urgent Care walk in until they told me after seeing their physician that my co-pay would be $500 because I was in the ER ("see the sign on the door" she says with condescension after her series of condescending remarks prior to this). I asked upon entering if they billed my insurance and was told yes. I do not live here, so I am not familiar with the facility and the Quick Care road sign is misleading. What a mess.

I went to West Marion this afternoon after school and didn't get out till 11:00. They took urine and blood tests they also did an x-ray and cat scan of my head. The doctor literally looked at me for less than 2 mins. He ended up forgetting to have a cat scan of my stomach and didn't tell us that till we were there for 6 hrs. I'm so upset and disappointed because I have been feeling really bad for a couple weeks now and they didn't help me at all. The only results they did give me was my blood results and I had to ask for them. It's ridiculous, West Marion you really should get better doctors in there that actually care about the patients well being.

The most amazing hospital. I recommend west Marion oaks hospital to everyone. You won't be disappointed. I took my mom here because she's a diabetic and was close to losing her leg. The villages only gave antibiotics and sent her on her way. West Marion oaks cleaned, bandaged, and kept my mom there for about 4 days. She's doing great. Thank you west Marion community hospital.

I don't know why this place has bad reviews. It was great, they saw us within 2 min of us arriving, and the staff was extremely friendly. Modern, clean, cool automated registration thing. Would totally come here again anytime the need arose. I've been here once before and it was also great that time.

I recently had shoulder surgery in this lovely institution. What a welcome friendly atmosphere. The pre op area and the surgical floor was staffed well. All staff members were very knowledgeable and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Their hand washing techniques were 100 percent which is so important.
