We eat here occasionally for special occasions, but today we just wanted to go. The Sunday brunch was a slightly abbreviated menu, more similar to the lunch Rodizio, at a significant price break from the regular dinner. Everything was delicious and service was great.

This place is amazing. Be prepared to spend a little money( no more then a night out for sushi) and enjoy. The service was awesome. Never were we without anything we needed. Food was fantastic to say the least. Just like any place you go. There will be those food snobs that had something that wasn't to their liking and leave a bad review. I'm no food snob I'm just a good old country boy who enjoys good food. And honestly if you go here and say the food isn't good. Then the problem is between your ears. I will go back for sure and would recommend it to anyone.

Love the service, the atmosphere, and the food was AMAZING!!! Our server Paul was very attentive and talk about service with a smile! And the restaurant manager Fabian, kudos to you for such an amazing restaurant!!

What they have achieved at Ipanema is something really exceptional. I walked in, not knowing what to expect, and was treated to upscale dining, low lightning, sharp staff, and a welcoming attitude (I was wearing a work shirt and flip-flops, but was not turned away. Already impressed.)
Our server Paul was on-point and extremely helpful, the Gaucho waiters brought an endless assortment of meats to our table (the Bacon-Wrapped Filet is the best, I cannot understate this), and my friend and I both ate until no more eating was possible. The atmosphere is so relaxing as to be almost sedating, I would call it therapeutic.
42 dollars opens you up to infinite steak, all of it transcendent. A small paper mat is turned up or down to indicate "Yes please, turn the meat back on," or "No thank you, I am currently eating meat" so that the Gaucho waiters can determine when to bring skewers of the best steak, pork, and chicken possible.
Die-hard carnivores must visit Ipanema. I enjoy showing off Ipanema to friends. I try to go as often as possible.

We read a lot of bad reviews about this place but decided to give it a try. Our experience was fantastic. The place is beautiful and the food was amazing. Our waiter was on top of everything we needed and the meat just kept on coming. Was a little pricey but was well worth it. We will be going back in the future.
