Returned to Rocky's for late afternoon, early dinner. Four of us this time. Keeping it simple, we had shrimp baskets and fish & fries. Again, delicious.
The shrimp were large and perfectly fried with a light batter. The fish, sea trout according to Rocky, was in a crisp batter and tasted great. We left full, satisfied and with fish left for lunch next day for two.
When we arrived, we were alone in the restaurant, and when we left, only two had come in for take-outs. Easy to drive past a restaurant which seems to not have many cars in the lot. In this case, you'd be missing some great seafood and a chat with Rocky.

The place may not look like much and it's always a bit too warm inside but I like to think of it like eating at a favorite auntie's house. No where else makes calamari like Rocky's does and her special sauce is out of this world delicious. The calamari are actual good size rings and she always uses fresh oil so you don't taste old grease. The garlic butter is also delicious. She grows a lot of her own veg also. Rocky is super sweet and when she isn't busy she always chats a bit.
