Great place for a bite to eat outside downtown. Our bar tender/waitress was extremely friendly and full of energy.
I had the burrito pescado. It was delicious. I cannot remember what the wife had, but it was all good.

My wife & I took the train up to CB Village for an evening of fun - decided to give Barrio a go. Just a block East from the train station so super convenient location. It was pretty crowded so we found a table outside and ordered a couple margaritas, very good. Chips & salsa was also good. I had enchiladas and my wife had 2 tacos, fish & chicken. The food was good - we ate everything. The meal took about 90 min, good thing we had time. The staff griped about being "slammed" to everyone.

Fun little spot with a pop out patio on Grand in the heart of the Village. Good food, usually good service, fun vibe. I would have given them 5 stars but the chips they serve with their salsa are not good... incredibly greasy.

Cool and cozy place in Carlsbad. Open kitchen so you can watch the chefs preparing the food, friendly wait staff and fresh ingredients. Shrimp and lobster tacos are on point. House tamale with some of the best mole sauce you can find in SoCal.

A great place to enjoy some mexican food and some yummy margaritas. They have several vegetarian choices other than beans and rices. Their avocado taco is delicious! We've always had good service to go along with the good food.
