I went to view a property in Carmel Valley with Carol. I made an appointment that was confirmed that morning. Drove there 20 minutes where another prospect was waiting. This gentleman had driven from Orange county (an hour away). We had to call their office to find out the owner was looking for a different type of renter. Let me repeat that. I HAD TO CALL THEM TO FIND MY APPOINTMENT WAS CANCELLED. It's fine that the owner wanted a different renter, but it's rude not to let me know and make me waste 40 minutes during a work day. Rude and unprofessional.

I happily came back to Ranch & Sea Management after having bought my house through Bart in Aug 2015. I am now renting my house via Carol as my property manager.
I am an active duty servicemember who discovered he was deploying on fairly short-notice. I needed to rent out my house for the first time and had zero experience on owning a rental property. Carol was able to meet with me the very next day, talk me through the first-time rental procedures, and ease my mind when it came to the rental process, finding tenants, how my home will be cared for, etc.
I rented my house out within 6 days. This was a tremendous amount of stress lifted off my shoulders.
Both experiences were terrific and the staff from Ranch & Sea Management was professional, easy to work with, and very accommodating to my short timeline.
Highly recommended, especially for servicemembers who want the stress-free, hands-off approach to renting out your home.

Our rental manager is Kim Robertson. We are currently renting a condo in Carlsbad and what we thought was a good property management company has turned sour.
Firstly, the rental was "ready to move in" 2/15 We gave them our move in date of 2/25. This gave them 10 days to make repairs and have it move in ready. It was not.
Things that needed paint weren't touched up. The cleaning job was awful. I expressed these concerns in an email to Kim and her response was that she had them out to the condo twice to clean it.
We are to be allotted two guest passes, these were never given to us. I contacted Kim in regards to it and she was supposed to handle it. After a month, we still had not received them.
Their vendor, Patrick, stood me up over 3 times. I took a day off of work, unpaid, to have him come and fix it and he said he assumed I didn't want him to come, after I had confirmed with him two days prior.
Kim has shown her true colors now. Instead of an apology or acceptance of responsibility, she rudely acknowledged my frustrations by putting the responsibility on me, for having a tight schedule. She also said she was never contacted with the issues. When I forwarded her the emails, her only response was, "thank you have a great day"
She was extremely rude and has poor customer service. Its unfortunate that we are stuck with this company, but after contacting her supervisor I am hoping something will be done. I will update this review once that happens.

I'm a busy guy and the money I spend with Ranch and Sea is worth every cent. I spend maybe a few hours a year worrying about my property. Ranch and Sea has their processes dialed in and I'm very pleased with our relationship thus far. I've been with them for 3 years. I'd recommend Ranch and Sea if you have any property management needs in Southern California.
I'm a busy guy and the money I spend with Ranch and Sea is worth every cent. I spend maybe a few hours a year worrying about my property. Ranch and Sea has their processes dialed in and I'm very pleased with our relationship thus far. I've been with them for 3 years.
