This is a friendly and respectful place. Fox and I feel like family. The wait time is never long, and the doctor is very thorough. My sweet little dog is cared for very well. and because of Temple Heights Animal Hospital, I expect to be with him for a very long time.

Dr. Valdez and his wonderful staff have been treating all of our pets for many years now. We value his care and counsel regarding the health of our animals and his staff, especially Lindsey, is wonderful. We wouldn't trust anyone else to provide veterinarian care for our border collies.

This is the most "user friendly" vet I have ever been too. Such a helpful and friendly staff! I would recommend their services to everyone!

My dog went in a week ago for stitches/staples and the stitch job is fairly shoddy... my dog had a nice clean cut, and the stitches are overlaid with the skin piled up underneath in some areas worse than others, just not real clean at all.

Aside from that, the real deal breaker was the fact that they put a sticky ace bandage all around my dog's midsection, completely wrapping around his body. The bandage came off today taking hair and hide with it. Just because he can't talk doesn't mean he can't feel, and there's no way a human would get that kind of treatment (hence the use of paper tape), so a dog shouldn't either (inhumane for one species = inhumane for another species).

Hands down the best vet in southern CA. I moved from Oceanside to about an hour away and still go see Dr. Valdez, I tried another vet but they always messed something up and Dr. Valdez would always help fix it. He and Lindsey are truly amazing and have so much expierence in the field, I will not let anyone, but them, see my fur-babies. I highly recommend Temple Heights animal hospital.
