Dr. Matook has been my Orthopedic doc for over 13 years, and I continually have more respect for both his skill, bedside manner, and real thoughtfulness as to courses of treatment. He listens, and doesn't automatically jump to surgery as the answer but has let me get to the point where I am ready, both physically and mentally after working through alternate treatments which in one case put off surgery for 8 years. (Just had a total knee replacement yesterday)
His staff are dedicated and don't mess around. They have to juggle generally high maintenance patients who like to complain so sometimes they get labeled as harsh but they have a professionalism like I've never seen and will get done what needs to be done, and just like all of us, appreciate honesty and transparency from patients.
I have missed appointments due to work conflicts and try to call ahead anytime this happens and they try to work with me. It can be difficult to get a last minute Appt, but that is testimony to how popular he is as a Doctor.
All-in-all I believe Dr. Matook has earned 5 Stars over the years from me.

I have a patient of Dr. MATOOK for years. He has performed 3 surgeries on me. He is great. His office staff is also great.
They are always helpful .I will continue to see this Dr.
