If you are craving some Smokey- fried chicken this place is a classic. Discovered this place in college with some friends who took me. Get the honey on your fries and chicken, it will change your life.

Oh man! I only heard about this place in Kappa legend. Many said that in order to acquire this precious delicacy, they would have to trek through dangerous land. Plainly speaking, we had to go to a sketchier part of town to get the prize. People hyped it being a scary location with stories of police presence everywhere and gun shots in the distance. It did not help that as we were pulling up, there was actually a police in the process of pulling someone over. Knowing my background, I'm not at all afraid or intimidated about the fear of the sketchy parts. I find it quite an insult, to be honest, and a bit offensive. Anyways, we arrived and I get my 7 piece tender meal. It was way more than 7 pieces! The box could not contain the amount of food I received. So that was a huge plus; I am a big eater. I get a bit impatient at waiting until going back to campus to enjoy the food, so I try a small piece. BOOM! I was hit with smoke from all around. This was a unique taste that I was told makes some people stray away from Bobo's, but I enjoyed it a lot. It was like eating slow smoked barbeque ribs, but instead of using beef ribs, it was chicken tenders. That was great on its own, but then the large slathering of honey flavored syrup added a sweetness that I also quite enjoyed. I was upset that I could not finish all my food. I crave it to this day, but I must save it for special occasions. Great place.

Great food. When there's a wait, there's a wait. Their Smoke Tenders wasn't what I expected. They're diced up pop corn chicken made from chicken tenders. They're seasoned well, great with each bite, except when they overcook it. Other than that, it's a must try location! Gotta pull an all-nighter? Drop the phone and don't dial a pizzeria!

Ok so the staff is definitely friendly and cute. First time going there and we ordered the four piece Fried Chicken that everyone always raves about , however me and both my friend got sick. The chicken does not really have much flavor unless you want the flavor to be smoke. It didn't taste like there was any seasoning on it at all and maybe that's why they suggest drowning it in honey. The best part of the meal was the delicious donut biscuits.
