I only rate this a 3 star because the service was good. I personally think that the food is not that great, except the soup was good. My steak was tough, the black beans look like something my dog left behind. I tried a pancake and it was the worst pancake I ever had!!! The omelettes looked good but I haven't tried them.

My wife and I had a great experience here. The restaurant was packed but the service was not slow. Our waiter was attentive and friendly and our food arrived quickly. Large portions and unique food choices. We will be back!

Really great and creative food. I guess it is known for breakfast but I went for dinner. Very pleased. Service was prompt. Servings were generous. Price was fine. Interior was not the greatest but if your are a foodie, this place is for you.

Terrible service! Arrived at 1:45. We placed our order and it took about an HOUR for the food to arrive although two other parties that arrived after us were served before us. The waiter was terrible. He didn't even offer an extra cup of coffee or any consideration while we waited. The bill was also questionable. Check the price for your order as the price listed online does not match what is on the menu in the restaurant and some items have similar names but different pricing. We were told that all managers had left and nothing could be done to reduce our bill due to the inconvenience. Food wasn't worth the hassle! Wouldn't recommend going.

Absolutely fantastic! I'm usually wary of places that require me to get up early on a Saturday, but this was a million times worth it. I loved everything I tried (we had a group of ten, so I tried many different things). Their smoothies were delicious.
If you want to try Cafe Kacao, make sure you get here BEFORE 8 to get yourself a table. This place is tiny and doesn't look like anything from the outside, but is an absolute gem once you're seated.
