Rude, crooked, and unethical business practices! Their website and branch location clearly state that they are a Co-Op ATM (No Fee) participant and offer Shared Branching... this means there is to be no fees associated with transactions done in the branch or through the ATM if your Credit Union is a participant as well. I was charge $3.50, which is ridiculous and excessive even for a traditional bank, to use Sound Credit Union's ATM to withdraw cash in direct violation of their Co-Op agreement. Their customer service rep - Charles - was rude and blamed my CU for being the reason for the fee. After calling my CU per Charles' direction, I verified that my CU was not at fault and that it was indeed Sound CU's error. I called back only to reach the same customer service rep who was clearly agitated with me being back on the phone with him. After sitting on hold for 12 minutes, he returned to tell me there was nothing they could do and that I would have to dispute the charge with my CU. CO-OP ATM card users BEWARE!!
