Tumwater Falls Park

Minimal walking distance to the most breath taking views. I’ve only been during the fall but I was stunned with the scenery. Walked less than two miles, mostly flat with a couple of wood bridges.

Really quick and easy place to see a waterfall. We were there on a very rainy day so we didn't walk around much, but still got to see the falls which was nice.

This is a lovely urban oasis, quiet and tranquil in the midst of a wonderful city. We visited when the salmon were running, which was awesome to see. Olympia has a jewel with this park.

The trail is amazingly beautiful. There's plenty of shade on the walk. The grass area is great to play a few games or catch or tag. Very family friendly as well as animal friendly.

Love this park for picnics and walks! It only gets 4 stars because most of the walk is paved (all of it up front) so we were unprepared for the section that was not easily navigated by my 8 y-o with a walker. We had to carry her and her walker. She still had a great time and we passed lots of others who had strollers and just carried them over breaks (2 cool large rock paths with holes between them, 1 longer section of unpaved dirt/roots/etc on an incline), so I still call it a great place as long as anyone needing wheeled assistance is light enough to be carried for a little bit. :)
There is a small playground in the picnic area with large concrete/metal boats for kids to climb and play on.
