Visiting the waterfront in Olympia was one my favorite things to do when I was a kid. This is a really nice restaurant, sitting right on the water. Our service was fantastic. My family and friends in the community have been going here for years. I am very much looking forward to visiting again.

Got seated and waited half hour, nobody even came by. Watched others seated after us get waited on. Disappointing service. Have eaten there several times and it's been good. The host told us it would be 5 minutes to get seated outside, then after 10 minutes asked us if we'd been helped. We were only two seated in waiting area.

Great family-friendly place with really good food! The goat cheese appetizer was amazing. The prime rib was a little sinewy but good. The sides were cooked to perfection. The best part had to be how we were treated as parents trying to dine with a toddler. I chose Budd Bay Cafe based on a search for family friendly restaurants and it didn't disappoint. There were lots of families, and they really know what what they're doing when it comes to the needs of these patrons. Thank you Budd Bay Cafe!

Budd Bay Cafe is more than just good food, it is a dining experience. With a wonderful view of the bay it's a place you would want to take your future partner so as to make a good impression! Young men would definitely want to take their first love, or husband's might get out of the dog house if they have a night out at Budd Bay!

My family and I are First time diners at Budd Bay Cafe as of today 8/12/17 I have to say the staff was very pleased,respectful and accommodating even thou we had a group of eight drop in without reservations on a Saturday night. The apps were excellent! Best crab cocktail I've had in a long time. My wife and I both had the Fillet and lobster tails. The lobster was over cooked and the Fillets we're not fillets, we inquired with our server in this and he told us their has been a mistake and the order he put in was for a top sirloin, not fillets. Whoops!!!!
