I am in Omaha for the weekend and decided to have some me time and treated myself to a hot mud roll. And this is the only half way decent spa I could find in this town. It was $113 and I hesitated getting it but i have a mud bodywrap before at another spa in Illinois and it was one of the best spa services ever and I decided to go with it. I was somewhat (well very) disappointed, being that it was cold i wanted to be warm and wrapped up like a cocoon and come out with my skin all soft and succulent (that's how it was the first time i got a mud wrap). The therapist was very very nice. I just think the spa itself is just does not live up to the standards. The mud roll has a couple steps, First, the exfoliating was alright, she just used gloves no products whatsoever, then the mud was really cold and kinda flimsy (again my fist time the mud was just thick and warm and they used a brush instead just the therapist's fingers to put on my body). The steam hood thingy was weird. it was just steam blowing with again no scents, nothing and i was put under a tent looking thing. She gave me a sub-par scalp message, (my hairstylists at aveda does much better than this where they use some essential oils for your hair.) She had this fan blowing in my face, and put some cold towel on my temples (this is the middle of winter I do not need to cool down!) , then the shower was ok. I was hoping that things will look up after the shower and when she give me the rubdown. It was the most disappointing part. She used some fruity scent generic lotion, did a very superficial rub down (my boyfriend gives me better message than that). I spent $113 for something I could have done at home. I tipped her $10 just because she was really nice. I will not go back there again. I thought this would be a good or at least an ok spa based on other reviews ,but i was disappointed. I don't know if I am just a spoiled spa snot and am just very picky with my services, I was not happy. I am used to therapists laying me down using all sorts of essential oils leaving like a new person. I left Sanctuary feeling like I just took a very expensive shower! I went back to my hotel and looked up the price of the mud bodywrap at the spa in Iliinois I mentioned about and it was only $98 and it was an immaculate experience for $15 cheaper than Sanctuary Day Spa. Just another overpriced mediocre spa.

Sanctuary day spa is omaha's hidden gem! They are really high end and professional but don't charge an arm and leg for their services. I get facials peels and massages on the regular at various spas all over Omaha (following groupon) but honestly I'd rather pay full price and come here where I know I'm going to get a service that goes above and beyond my expectations. Everyone there is great and they usually get me in the day of!

I took my mom to Sanctuary Day Spa for a Mother's Day gift. We decided to do a package with both a facial and a massage. It was cheaper than most other places we looked so I was orginally a little worried, but it was AMAZING! The decor in the lobby is very welcoming and relaxing. Both the massage and the facial were the best I have ever had. I highly suggest booking more than one treatment because the lunch was great as well. This is definitely my new favorite day spa!

I love Sanctuary Day Spa! I have had the best massage, facial and body treatments here. It is always very clean and the staff is polite. I would strongly recommend booking more than one service and ordering lunch. They bring it over from Spirit World next door. It is a perfect way to spend a day!
