Switched here recently and was satisfied with the prices and impressed by the care. Never felt rushed or hurried. I was also impressed that Dr. Petersen took the time to check my German Shepherds hips, we were only in for an ear concern. For me that solidified my choice, for him to see my dog and know that the breed is prone to hip problems and check them the first time meeting him really impressed me.

I have been going to Dr. Petersen since his clinic opened. I absolutely love all of his staff and him as a veterinarian. He listens to all of your concerns and answers all of your questions you might have. I had an elderly German Shepherd who required a lot of patience because she was fear aggressive and Dr. Petersen and vet tech Alex would take their time with her and would wait till she was ready for her visit. I am so happy to have found him. I highly recommend his clinic and now I have a lot of friends and family that go to his clinic because I am always telling any of my friends that have pets to go to here. Prices are so reasonable and staff is great. Couldn't ask for much more! Keep up the great work guys!

We took our beloved Goldie to Westgate after she developed seizures. Unfortunately this was the end for Goldie. The Vet and staff at Westgate were fantastic.

My 4 year old cat lost a lot of weight fast right before a trip I was supposed to take. I called Westgate an hour before they closed and they told me they would see him immediately that night. Everyone was so kind and they stayed an hour after closing just to check on him. They put all my fears to rest and got the blood work results back to me within 72 hours(everything was fine!).
I will be going to Westgate for any and all vet needs in the future. Staff was so gentle and caring and price's were affordable. Plus, they sent me a sweet little post card welcoming me as a client.

I left a really great vet because they were so $$$! Read reviews about these Doctors and the reviews were all dead on! Great compassionate care and Dr. Petersen acted like we were the only patient to see. He spent a lot of time with me, answered my questions and some I hadn't thought of. Literally almost half of what I was paying for an office visit!!
Like others have mentioned, my dog was nervous as heck when we got there. I dropped her off for a biopsy. When I picked her up her heart rate was normal and she was totally calm. Can't wait to introduce my other 2 furballs to them.
Nice office/waiting room also. Very clean.
