I really enjoy this place. Atmosphere could go from semi-casual to a more formal direction depending on your preference. I’ve been twice and the food is delicious. They do a great job with food and drinks. The mac n cheese appetizer is perhaps the best mac n cheese I've had anywhere. (They touch it up with truffle oil!) The tavern burger is a scrumptious selection. They concocted an excellent Old Fashioned. Definitely worth a visit. Plan to enjoy the atmosphere with close friends, family, or a significant other. Don’t rush this one. You won’t regret it.
Pro tip: Sunday has happy hour drink and food specials until close.

Shout out to The Osprey Tavern for personalizing and adding an element of surprise to our menus last night. It was my friend's birthday and I made a simple reservation on open table. We've known each other for 20 years and grew up here together. I wanted to give her a taste of what Orlando's foodie scene has become. Being a lawyer and living in NYC, she has had many luxury experiences at restaurants. When she saw that the menu was dedicated to her, she was awestruck. I didn't think I could like Osprey more...boy was I wrong. As always, our meal was amazing and our server Danielle was friggin personable, attentive, and funny as hell! We were there for 4 hours...all the way to closing time and we never felt rushed to leave. Absolute win!

My husband and I love the happy hour at Osprey. They offer great prices on small plates, cocktails, wine, and beer. On first Fridays of the month, there are vendors all around the main street right in front of the tavern.

Normally menu prices are a bit on the high side. But I happened to go during a happy hour and dining special. Tried many plates and cocktails. Many of them exceeded expectations and none disappointed. Worth a try if you're in town and looking for some detailed food and beverage.
Ps the bartenders are helpful and personable.
