Do NOT rent a car there. Got a piece of junk and brought it right back to them. They never issued a refund, now I'm dealing with credit card dispute.

I rented from their Orlando location. Upon returning the car I thought they would credit my deposit back but we are 3 weeks out and nothing yet. When I call them they just tell me to call back later or another day. No reasons as to why they have not returned my deposit not even an apology. So if you want to rent from them be prepared to fight for your deposit.

I rented from rent a wreck in Oct of 2010-I became a long time renter(not by choice) due to not having a vehicle for some period of time. It was the most horrific experience. I must have driven every single car in that lot by the time I had returned the last vehicle. One had no heat, one stalled on me in the middle of a major intersection, and in addition to that every single one of them have overheated on me. Everytime I mentioned this to Bob(the owner) he lauged it off with a "yea that happens" or one time when i was mentioning a problem with one of the older ford cars, I was explaining how it kept stalling and I was afraid to drive it, he said"oh it will take you anywhere you want to go". And when I explained how I had to be driving my 3 year old in a car with no heat, he again laughed it off. This man showed absolutely no sympathy to these situations and swears his vehicles are up to par. AND THEY ARE NOT!! THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY UNSAFE! When I finally returned the vehicle, he absolutely refused to give me my deposit back and refused to give me the money that I paid for an extra week rental that I did not use. I am currenly trying to get action 9 to investigate the situation. Absolutely under no circumstances, would I even let them change my oil much less even think about renting another deathtrap from them.
