VERY FAST AND EASY CHECK IN PROCESS. THE LADY AT THE COUNTER WAS EXTREMELY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL! I AM VERY PLEASE WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THRIFTY TO EVERYONE I KNOW WHO NEEDS A RENTAL SERVICE.

We were there for 10 minutes picking up a car and witnessed the WORST customer service I have ever seen.
Immediately walked in to a fight. There was an Asian family asking to speak to the manager and a very disrespectful sales rep spoke down to them in a manner I couldn't understand. As if they were really bothering her and she had no patience to say anything more to them. She told them the manager wasn't there, the wife asked that she call, the rep shrugged and said she didn't have her cell phone on her. So the wife pointed out that there were phones all around her and the rep replied, "it won't make a difference anyway. You're just gonna have to wait til he comes back. Have a seat." When asked when he'd be back she said she didn't know. Completely rude, disrespectful and dismissive. The husband than said that they had robbed them of their money and told them they would get it back. Sounded like the car company kept their deposit. I was immediately turned off by the scene. A customer feels robbed of their money and the sales rep refuses to call a manager (who was probably there all along) and dismisses them to a corner. Not good business. I wanted to leave but we were so far from the airport that we thought we'd give it a go.
As we approach the counter an angry large white male is brought inside by another sales rep with apologies. Sales reps offer the man 2 minivans and the man gets even angrier. He says, "I reserved an over sized SUV and you didn't have one so you give me a van, now that breaks down and you wanna give me two minivans?!" Sales rep says it's all they have and the customer begins to tell them that if they might need to call the police. Suddenly both sales reps roll their eyes and behind sighing and grunting deeply. One of them literally waved him off and walked away with her hand in the air.
As we're nervously making our arrangement our sales rep said the deposit is $1000!!!! They would put a hold on our card. We were using a credit card so we couldn't understand why it was so much. We also have full coverage insurance. He said that wouldn't make a difference and that if we "just pay double the rental you can pay $500." We suddenly understood why so many customers were angry. I didn't want to risk being robbed of $1000 (or $500) like the other family so we left immediately.
Worst business I have ever encountered. ZERO STARS.
OH! The sales rep also tried to sell us a $20 toll pass and said, "I guarantee you'll go through at LEAST 5 rolls in any direction."
We rented from Hertz, deposit was $200, and went through 2 tolls that were under $2 each.

Horrible experience. Provided a dirty car and charged me for cleaning. I will NEVER rent with thrifty again. If I could put no stars I would.
