This doctor is a scheming scoundrel that change my medications to new ones when I specifictly said no!! The day being so late and I needed to take my meds so I took the new medications he prescribed which landed me in the hospital twice!! Ppl please understand that these doctors push patients to try new drugs so that they get compensation and discounts😰. He's dishonest and uses his patients as mules to test new drugs for these pharmaceutical companies that in turn treat us like lab rats. They make billions of dollars off of patients while we suffer and cry for help😡. This doctor is one that plays games with your life for a profit beware!!!!

I was at JC Medical on 9/27. I was very please with the service that one of doctor Jean Charles's medical assistant gave me. She was easy to talk to and she was also able to answer all questions ask before doctor came in to see me. I forgot her name, but she speaks Spanish and Portuguese. Dr Jean Charles is wonderful and speaks my language and made it easy for me to understand all the medical terms.

My experience with Dr. Jean-Charles was a pleasant experience. He came in the room with humor and made me feel comfortable very quickly. He addressed all my issues and listened to my concerns. I can’t speak for the other reviews and their past experiences but I enjoyed mines. I didn’t feel rushed and he made sure all my questions were answered. Also the Nurse practitioners are awesome as well.

This has easily been the worst medical experience I've had in my life my life.
I waited over 2 hours past my appointment to have a 90 second conversation with the doctor, during which 70 seconds was spent asking if I was suicidal... then he scheduled me for blood work and said I'd have to come back for another appointment that won't be covered by my insurance to complete my wellness exam.
Edit: My follow up visit was just about as negative a result. This time, they rolled out the red carpet for me (and asked me to change my review no less than 3 times). But while waiting in the lobby after my appointment, I had a follow up question about a test to help the Dr answer a question. I asked a nurse or PA at the front desk, who went to ask the doctor. He said I should take the test, but because "the book on my appointment was already closed," he couldn't order it for me so my insurance would cover it. Literally- I hadn't left the office yet, was waiting for something he was going to give me, and he couldn't put an order in for a test. So I had to find a place and pay out of pocket. The kicker is this, though: After 2 weeks of following up after they received the result (I know because I got it, too), he ends up saying that the test didn't matter, because it's not his field of expertise. Linda was the one shining star there, but that wasn't enough to salvage my experience. The terrible bedside manner, the waiting, the lack of communication...
Ugh. I definitely wish my insurance didn't make this guy my Primary Care. I ended up going to my old doctor, Dr Menezes, and paid out of pocket for an appointment with him (conveniently, at the end of the day, I ended up paying the same amount to him out of pocket that I did for my two appointments here and the test). In and out in 10 minutes with every question I had adequately answered, and every request I made addressed.
PS- "Fiction is not fact" is how the office responded to this review online? You can believe whatever "alternative facts" you'd like, but that doesn't change what actually happened. I'm glad I didn't change my review after it was read back to me while I waited during my second visit.

Waited there for 3 hours to only have my daughter get 5 minutes with the doctor. No follow up on labs and never got a call from them. In my opinion this is a mill for patients who don't know they deserve any better.
