Great food in THE best part of town, Thornton Park. If you like Winter Park but want to relax a tad then this area is for you. This place has THE greatest sushi and decor PERIOD. You cannot go wrong here unless you seriously no not like sushi. BET!

Disappointed would be an understatement, and if I could rate them zero stars, I would. I came to Shari for the first time tonight on a date with my fiancé. Once we were seated we were told that there were no available menus and to wait patiently. We did, and when we finally got said menus, we both ordered a drink. If you’re into $12 drinks with no discernible hint of alcohol, this is just the place for you! After finishing our $12 fruit juices, we waited for the next 40 (yes, 40) minutes for what I hoped would be better sushi. I was disappointed yet again, with two extremely bland “spicy rolls” - Romeo & Juliet, and Hot Lava - that left me craving real sushi. I am now sitting in the drive through line at Chick-fil-A, hungry and annoyed. If you don’t enjoy throwing money in the gutter, stay away from this place at all costs. And if you still go, expect to leave with a large bill and no semblance of a buzz.

I had been a happy repeat diner at Shari until last night. I found a used piece of gum (albeit wrapped in its Trident wrapper) in my drink and was absolutely disgusted. When we calmly notified the waiter I was even more disappointed at how it was handled. He did not offer a sincere apology, but instead made excuses. I would have expected a manager to come out and apologize, maybe comp part of our meal or something, but none of that happened. The waiter did comp the drink, but at that point I was already grossed out and turned off at the lack of customer service so I left without drinking it. Will not be back.

FOOD WAS GREAT, ITS WORTH WAITING!! BUT BARTENDER DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT SUSHI OR ROLLS AND MADE MISTAKE ON MY DRINK, EVERY TIME I COME IN?!?! ITS A SAME GIRL TOO AND GUYS TAKES FOREVER TO GET MY FOOD. DRINKS ARE OK I HOPE YOU'LL GET SOMEONE NICE WHO HAS MORE KNOWLEDGE ON SUSHI, INSTEAD GIVING ME BS, PRETEND THEY KNOW WHATS IN THE ROLLS. I'M SURE EVERYTHING IS GOOD. HOPE YOU'LL TRAIN THEM OR HIRE NEW BARTENDER THAT HAVE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SUSHI. MY FRIEND GOT SICK LAST WEEK CAUSE OF BARTENDER DIDN'T KNOW WHAT INGREDIENTS WAS IN THERE.
