This place discriminate against African american ppl. Soon as I walked in she says to me and my gf what do u need? I said a fill in for me and pedicure for my gf. She immediately told me I dont do acrylic nails only sns.. (How do she know if I have acrylic nails on or not tho?) I said OK cool I'll try something different today no problem. Then she says rudely, well I can't do you today you have to make appointment. She was rude and very unfriendly. I have plenty of money in my bank I will happily take it somewhere else. Thats probably why the place was empty anyway she had two customers smh I found a better place up the streeth at Delight Nails and Spa, clean friendly and the place was packed.. #boomin they even convinced me to do SNS on my next visit and I gladly accepted😀 and they give a massage. So only go to whilshire if you are white! #racists

Make and appointment and show up on time! If you do that you will have a lovely experience at Whilshire. The do accept walk-ins but it's usually a long wait. Whilshire specializes in SNS (dip powder). If you haven't heard of it, look it up. I absolutely LOVE it. Usually my nail polish chips or peels off but with SNS I'm only getting my nails done every 3-4 weeks and that's only because of growth. The colors is still shiny and no chips weeks later. The process takes about 2 hours so expect to be there for awhile.

Amazing place, when you go here ask for tam! He is very kind! The ladies that come here are nice as well. They only do SNS but it is worth it! You will pay more but they last forever! I recommend this shop and procedure! Bye bye to acrylics for ever, hello SNS! Make sure you make an appointment before you go.

Very happy with my experience here. They had a variety of shades and plenty of neutral colors to choose from. Tina was my pedicurist and Lynn my manicurist. Everyone was so friendly, they fit me into their busy schedule and even did my manicure pedicure at the same time as I was limited on time. Love my nails!

Wow! I have never left a review in my life, but this was crazy, first no customer service or whatsoever , I got my nails and I was being very late to work as it took 2 hours to get them done and I didn't like the length ( I showed him a picture of the length I wanted) , so I came back next day and the lady that greeted me was eating a FRUIT IN FRONT OF ME AND WHILE CHEWING IT SHE ASKED ME WHAT I NEEDED, when I said I just want them shorter she rolled her eyes and said :" you wait" mumbling and chewing her fruit, it looked like a supplier was bringing Asian fruit to Walmart and I wasn't at the salon! Then the other lady that actually made my nails shorter asked me why I didn't tell him yesterday I wanted them shorter, WHICH I DID! Why you asking me ? You being lazy to spend your 5 minutes to cut them? I usually tip people over 30% and I expect minimum from them , but this was very annoying!
