The only reason I am grateful for tri county was because they stopped my baby girl from being in pain. I had 45$ to my name when my shadows hip broke. she was an older husky and I had made and cancelled app 3 times at her regular vet to put her to sleep. it was so hard for our family to let shadow go , we had Shadow for 16 wonderful years. I truly wish now I would have put her to sleep when we first had planned. because we had the money and it would have been on our terms and that shadow wouldn't have had to experience all that pain and be scared. I had to sign my rights of shadow over to tri county for them to put her to sleep for 25$ . BUT THEN THEY WOULDN'T LET ME STAY WITH SHADOW WHEN THEY GAVE HER THE SHOT. YOU TOOK A HEARTBREAKING SITUATION TRI COUNTY AND MADE IT WORSE. IM SO ANGRY YOU DIDN'T ALLOW ME TO STAY WITH MY BABY. SHE WAS SO SCARED. I DONT THINK THATS RIGHT TO DO TO PEOPLE OR THEIR ANIMALS AT ALL! WHAT DIFFERENCE WOULD IT HAVE MADE TO LET ME STAY AND HOLD MY BABY WHILE SHE PASSED ! ?? NONE CHANGE YOUR STUPID RULE!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭

Probably the worst place you can ever take your pet to. Peoria needs a better animal emergency hospital. One that has staff and doctors who actually care about your pets.

I am very thankful for Tricounty Emergency Clinic. Dr. Metzler was very kind and took great care of our dog whose head encountered the worst kind of burrs this evening on a walk. His face was matted thick & his ears and eye were affected. Great service, not rushed, price was very reasonable considering after hours availability & services provided. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

We brought our cat in who had suddenly gotten very sick.Unfortunately he died on his own right as we brought him in.The staff was so nice and compassionate. We were very grateful for their kindness as my family was very upset.

I called with concerns about my two dogs ingesting Cannabis infused oil and they were very professional and gave me great suggestions. I appreciated the advice by phone as I do not own a car.
