If you have a date and you want to flaunt your culture instead of your wallet come here! Cozy atmosphere, great staff and better mimosas. Our waitress Raven (Tracey lol) was the nicest staff member ive had in the city.
By the way.....you better order the mimosas when they go on special!

Because the chips and salsas were absolutely divine...and from there it only got steamier and yummier. My enchiladas were stuffed with roasted chicken and topped with a light red sauce, the beans and rice were a pair of rich, flavorful comfort foods, and the last bite - the tres leches cake - was a bit of vanilla creaminess that ended the meal perfectly. Who knew this little gem of a Mexican restaurant would knock our gringo socks off??

This is a great place for drinks and Mexican fusion in Northern Liberties. Usually I'm not a fan of white people making tacos because each and every one of those hipster food trucks are atrocious, but this place can rival the best Mexican food you'd find south of the border. The vegetable chimichanga with cheese in that lush fluffy crust is amazing. The only challenge I have at this place is trying not to fill up on their tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole before the main event. Great drinks as well. Most of the wait staff and bartenders are great, but they do have the occasional yo-yo working there. Besides that, as long as you can deal with a packed house, make sure you try this place. There's usually not a long wait even when busy. Highly recommend for Mexican cuisine!

Dos Segundos is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in Philly. Their margaritas are very good (thank god, finally found a place where they DON'T taste like sour mix and cheap tequila), and their food is always good. They have a rotating selection of specials, which is where I typically choose my entree from, but on the regular menu I'm a huge fan of the all pastor burrito. It's spectacular!
It's absolutely worth noting as well that Did Segundos has a wide variety of both vegan and carnivore friendly options
