My wife and I came here for our anniversary— being history buffs, it seemed like a suitable fit. The atmosphere was comfortable, cozy, and delightful, like being back in the colonial era but modern enough to be enjoyable. Our waiter was fantastic, and the entire experience just blew my mind. Amazing food, great drinks, delicious dessert— and the opportunity to try madeira! An amazing experiencing, definitely recommended.

Incredible! LOVED this place! Everything about it. From the minute we walked in the door, during our dine in time and leaving was an amazing experience. First, we were greeted by 2 women who were so friendly. They went over the top to make us feel welcomed. Our server, Rafael, was so nice. He explained all the specials to us, recommended drinks and apps. He was so good to us. Also, the harp player was awesome. What great background music. Peaceful, relaxing. Exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be dining here again.

The building was historically correct. Fun atmosphere. The General Washington Porter was excellent. Shrimp cocktail was the best! And our waiter (George) was wonderful. We will go back!!

New England clam chowder was superb! The Mallard duck sausage app was pretty good.Venison medallions were wonderful. Tomato onion salad...tomatoes were not ripe, seafood over pasta very good. Service right on. Atmosphere was great , nice to be a part of History after visiting Museum of the American Revolution. Meant to add that Alyssa was our server, very friendly and polite. Good recommendations. Even gave us a DVD about the foods and preparation of the Colonial times. Thank you!
