Worst club experience ever. Very nasty security & staff. Bathrooms are small & filthy. Strippers are lazy. If you're coming from out of town looking for a decent night club do not waste your time or money at Club Onyx Philly. As much as they promote this club you'll think it'll be what it's heavily hype up to be, however such is not the case. Never again.

Me and my family came here for the first time from Jamaica and Chicago and the experience was horrible. We paid our entry fee of $30 dollars each and proceeded to go to the bar. We were then told that the bar is closed. Since we are not from Philly we had no idea the bar closes at 2 since the club closed at 5 am. We walked back to the cashier and asked for a refund since we came from far to enjoy our night life. They refused to acknowledge us and then we asked to speak to management. It took about a half hour for the manager to speak to us just to say he will not issue any refund or even a partial refund. This is absurd! Yes we are aware that this is a gentleman's club, however we wanted to have an alcoholic beverage as well. Onyx nightclub is a joke and the management is unprofessional to tourists! We will never return!

I had a fun time and the girls are fun but one of them gave me incorrect change for my $30 & wouldn't answer me when I asked her about it before she walked away. I understand that lap dances obviously cost money, but the price should be told beforehand. My friend got suckered out of $25 for a lap dance she didn't ask for. That's ridiculous, and I probably won't be coming back anytime soon.
