Don’t go here! The staff is very rude. Particularly the female bartender on staff on 10/28/17. I went in to ask for straws because we were across the street at Divinity Hall setting up for a party and we needed straws for the self inflating balloons. Now I’m not upset that she told me no. I entered the establishment with a question preparing to hear yes or no. But my issue is when I walked in I politely asked and she just walked away and tended to her customer. Ok cool maybe she didn’t hear me. I try again and say excuse me miss could I have two straws. She then proceeds to yell at me across the bar saying no unless your buying a drink you cannot have anything in here they are for paying customers and proceeds to roll her eyes. Now if she wasn’t yelling I wouldn’t have taken offense but she was just all around rude. A simple no would have suffice. Let me just say I’m no hobo off the street and I asked In a polite manner. I also come from customer service background and if that’s how you treat someone who walks into your establishment for the very first time well shame on you! And you won’t have to worry about me stepping foot in there ever again and I’ll see to it that the West Philadelphia community knows how you talk to people as well. Word of mouth is a powerful tool.
