I have passed the restaurant with the olive a number of times. I was recently there and I would eat there again. I had a margarita and it was made just right. The French onion soup dumplings, the spinach ravioli, the skirt steak, the tuna tartare, the beef brisket, all are highly recommended. The desserts were good also.

The staff was well organized and efficient. I got the lox and bagel sandwich which is a favorite of mine and there’s was the biggest I’ve ever had.
Their bathroom is extremely off putting though. It’s down the stairs in a dim hallway and there is a window to peer into the bathroom, just over the sinks not looking toward the stalls, but it’s still uninviting for a bathroom. Inside it’s dark and blue and black, aesthetically cool, but the toilets look and feel like Park outhouses. If I hadn’t used the restroom there I would have given it a 5/5

Have been here twice so far: once for happy hour and once for brunch. At happy hour the clientele were rude entitled brats. I also had problems with the bill. At brunch I noticed my seat was dirty. I went to ask the hostess to see if someone could wipe it off. She ran off and returned and begrudgingly cleaned it herself. We thanked her and she just walked away, no smile or anything. Atmosphere is cool but not sure it’s worth the bad attitudes you encounter.

Really cool vibe and creative retro feel with swinging chairs upstairs, and booths resembling car seats downstairs. Went for breakfast and we had a kale and mushroom omelet with smoked gouda, smoked salmon Benedict, and French onion dumplings (Very creative and rich!). It was great for a quick breakfast. One drawback: it was a bit challenging to get a coffee refill and a spoon.

Easily my favorite restaurant in the whole city so far. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Great for a special night with friends or a date. Don't think I have ever had a bad experience here. They also do a really neat celebration for New Years. I didn't go, but I saw the decorations around dinner time. I'll plan on going some year.
