The Walking Fish - is bloody marvellous. Not just because it does good theatre - which it does, brilliantly. Not just because the Fish reminds me of half a dozen London fringe theatres - my home town has loads of great tiny theatres. And not because I've worked with co-founder Michele Pauls - who is a stunningly good actor as well as a great administrator. The Fish is bloody marvelous because nobody who goes to a show there, or takes a class, or makes art there, NOBODY comes away without a fascinating new experience. And Michele's partner Stan Heleva - playwright & director & poet & father - is bloody marvelous too. Now, go there!

My wife & I visited several times while we lived in Philly....a small place but large in spirit....Very friendly place and we miss it.
